Let’s help students in need
By supporting The Smith Family through the Triple M Hike for Hope, you can support disadvantaged students with essential digital devices and home internet they need to succeed at school.
Students who are digitally excluded are not only missing out on learning today - they’re being locked out of the jobs of tomorrow.
Access to a digital device and secure internet connection, as well as digital literacy skills including AI, are now crucial for a student to participate fully in their education.
44% of our Learning for Life students are not digitally included, meaning they don’t have a digitally connected laptop or tablet at home. That means in South Australia, we still have around 1900 families who still require support with digital access.
Through the Triple M Hike for Hope, The Smith Family aims to raise $150,000 to support 200 South Australian families who are not currently connected or have a suitable device.

When disadvantaged children return to school without the digital basics they risk falling behind before the year even begins. Your gift helps a child start strong, with everything they need to belong, learn and thrive alongside their classmates.
Laptop
Families facing financial distress often struggle to provide access to a laptop for their child's studies. Your gift can provide a child with their own device and imporve their learning and schooling journey.
DIGITAL SUPPORT
Children growing up in hardship often lack the digital essentials. Your gift can support a child with access to a laptop, home internet and digital literacy support to help them thrive in their education.
