About Our Partnership
The Smith Family and Return and Earn have teamed up to help children in need and the environment!
This six‑month Return and Earn partnership sees The Smith Family named as the statewide donation partner, with messaging appearing across Return and Earn kiosks and return points throughout the state.
Return and Earn allows people to return eligible bottles and cans for a 10‑cent refund. During this partnership, that simple action can help support children and young people experiencing disadvantage.
Until 22 October 2026, every bottle or can you return can do a lot more!
Simply donate your 10-cent refunds to support children and young people experiencing disadvantage access the essentials for their education.
- For every 30 eligible containers recycled, one book is funded for a child living with disadvantage
- The partnership aims to raise $200,000 over six months
- Funds raised will provide access to books and essential learning resources for students in need
