On Saturday 8 August , we're opening the doors of La Cache à Vin for Lunch from 12pm for a very special reason, to raise funds for The Smith Family, one of Australia's most beloved and impactful children's charities.
The Smith Family has been changing lives since 1922, with a simple but powerful belief: that supporting a child's education is the best way to break the cycle of disadvantage. Right now, 1 in 6 Australian children are growing up in poverty — and for these kids, that can limit their choices, their opportunities, and their futures.
Through their Learning for Life program, The Smith Family supports disadvantaged children and young people all the way through their education — from pre-school onward — so they can create better futures for themselves.
Your ticket to our fundraising luncheon goes directly toward making that possible. Come for the food, the wine, and the company — and leave knowing you've helped give an Australian child a fighting chance.
